There’s no easier way of arriving in holiday mode than starting your day at Rosecliffe feeding our farm animals and collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coop with us.
We keep:
Belted Galloway cattle
Two horses, “Donny” & “Charlie“, and a donkey named “Jack”
Two miniature horses, “Bambi” & “Shirley”
Two cheeky alpacas, “Quila Mamma” & “Punchou”
A busy hen house with lots of baby chickens
An ostentation of peacocks
Our guests are invited to join us to assist with the feed preparations, feed the animals and to collect fresh farm eggs from the hen house. Feeding and connecting with our animals is an absolute favourite activity for kids of all ages. We’re happy to answer any questions about our animals, the farm and local area.
Ps. If you’d like take the opportunity to drink your morning cuppa in peace, you’re welcome to send your kids off by themselves.
